Today during the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, announced that Marvel’s “Loki” season 2 will arrive on Disney+ in Summer 2023.

Season 1 of Marvel Studios’ “Loki” featured the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.

Tom Hiddleston is set to return as Loki.  Owen Wilson, who played Mobius in the first season of “Loki,” recently confirmed that his character would be returning for the second season.  Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who played Ravonna Renslayer in Season 1, also recently confirmed to GMA that she will be returning.  Rafael Casal (Blindspotting) has also recently been revealed to join Season 2.

Plot details for the second season are being kept under wraps. Eric Martin will serve as writer for all six episodes.  Moon Knight directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have been tapped to co-direct a majority of the episodes for “Loki” Season 2.   Hiddleston and Michael Waldron, who wrote and served as showrunner in Season 1, will executive produce Season 2.
