Production on Marvel’s “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” will begin sooner than expected.
The Disney+ Original series will star Kathryn Hahn as her character from WandaVision. Jac Schaefer returns as executive producer and head writer.
Not many other details are known about the project however a fellow WandaVision star will reportedly be returning for the series. Emma Caulfield, who played Sarah Proctor, aka Dottie Jones has been confirmed to appear in the upcoming series. Joe Locke will reportedly star as a villain in the series and Aubrey Plaza (The White Lotus), Sasheer Zamata(Saturday Night Live), and Eric André have been cast in unknown roles. Additionally, Ali Ahn (Raising Dion) and Maria Dizzia (The Staircase) will reportedly play witches in the upcoming series.
In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Emma Caulfield confirmed she’ll start shooting for the series next week.

“The cast is so good. I start doing some stuff next week. I know a little bit, but I can’t say anything,” Caulfield told ComicBook.com. “I can’t tell you what to expect, because that would reveal something. I know little, just enough to keep me in the right zone. I think it’s all going to be really fun. I haven’t seen [Kathryn Hahn] yet. I really love her. She’s just the best, effortlessly cool.”
Previously it was believed that the show would begin filming in December. The series will be working under the title of “My Pretty.”
According to The Illuminerdi, creator Jac Schaeffer will direct at least one episode of the show and Gandja Monteiro (The Chi, Brand New Cherry Flavor) is directing at least one episode of the show as well.
Marvel’s “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” will consist of 9 episodes and is scheduled to release on Disney+ in Winter 2023.
