According to Next Best Pictures’ Will Mavity, Black Panther’s costume designer, Ruth E. Carter has joined Marvel’s upcoming “Blade” reboot. Mavity shared the news on social media which you can see below:

According to The Direct, Mavity previously reported that Damian Garcia had signed on as the upcoming film’s cinematographer.
No plot details have been revealed about the film so far, however, a brief summary was given on Production List which you can see below:
“He is known to be a vampire hunter— half-mortal, half-immortal— who tries to rid the world of vampires as a way of avenging his mother, who was killed by a vampire as she gave birth to him.”
Mahershala Ali will play the iconic vampire hunter. Delroy Lindo (The Harder They Fall, Da 5 Bloods) and Aaron Pierre (M. Night Shyamalan’s Old) also star. Additionally, Milan Ray (The Wonder Years) has recently joined the cast along with Anthony Starr (The Boys) who will reportedly play the villain.
Bassam Tariq, best known for directing Mogul Mowgli which starred Academy Award nominee Riz Ahmed, will direct “Blade.”
Stacy Osei-Kuffour will write the script and Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige is producing.
Filming on “Blade” is expected to begin this October.
Marvel’s “Blade” is scheduled to hit theaters on November 3, 2023.
