Marvel’s ‘Moon Knight’ Rumored To Premiere on Disney+ In March

According to a new report from One Take News, “Moon Knight” is being targeted for a March 30, 2022 premiere date on Disney+.

Last month, it was reported that “Moon Knight” was farther along in the post-production process and could release on Disney+ before “She-Hulk” so the above information does seem plausible.

Since nothing has been confirmed by Disney or Marvel, we will treat this as a rumor for now.

“Moon Knight” is an action-adventure series that features a complex vigilante who suffers from a dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him are distinct characters who appear against a backdrop of Egyptian iconography.

Oscar Isaac will play the titular hero,  Gaspard Ulliel has been cast as Anton Mogart aka the Midnight Man, with May Calamawy and Ethan Hawke in undisclosed roles. It has also been reported that Alexander Cobb (Indian Summers) has been cast in an unknown role.

Mohamed Diab and Indie horror filmmakers Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have been tapped to direct.  Jeremy Slater (Umbrella Academy) is the series showrunner and lead writer.

“Moon Knight” will reportedly consist of six episodes.

Disney released a brief teaser for “Moon Knight” on Disney+ Day which you can see below.
