Marvel’s ‘Runaways’ Removed From Disney+ and Hulu

As part of its ongoing cost-cutting strategy, Disney has started to remove dozens of titles from Disney+ worldwide and Hulu.  One of the titles that has been removed from Hulu in the United States and Disney+ globally is Marvel’s “Runaways.”  This marks the first adapted Marvel series to be removed from the streaming platforms.

“Runaways” premiered on Hulu in November 2017 and ran for a total of three seasons before it was canceled in 2019.  The show is still available for purchase digitally.

The series follows a group of six teenagers in the Marvel universe – Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Molly Hernandez, Chase Stein, Alex Wilder, and Gertrude Yorkes – who discover that their parents are secretly members of a super-villain cabal called The Pride. After deciding they’re no longer safe in their own homes, the kids go on the run.

There is no word when or if the series will return to Disney+ or Hulu.
