Marvel’s ‘WandaVision’ Disney+ Series Reportedly Delayed Until 2021

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the WandaVision series coming to Disney+ has been delayed until 2021.  The Marvel series was originally set to debut this December, but with filming halted on all movie and television productions around the world earlier this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, its more than likely many projects will be delayed.  It was just revealed that another Marvel series set for the streaming service, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will also miss its target premiere date in August.

Keep in mind, neither Disney nor Marvel have commented on any delays or premiere dates yet.

Set in the 1950s, WandaVision will follow the story of Elizabeth Olson and Paul Bettany’s superhero characters Scarlet Witch and Vision. The series blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
