Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ Original animated series “What If…?” Season 2 was originally slated to debut on the streamer in early 2023, however, Disney has not announced an exact release date yet. According to a new report, the series may not premiere until next year.
The news comes from inside scooper KC Walsh who revealed on social media that the second season of “What If…?” will reportedly release on Disney+ in the first quarter of 2024 which means between January 1 and March 31. You can see that post below:

As always since nothing has been confirmed by Marvel or Disney, we will treat this as a rumor for now.
Marvel’s animated series “What If…?” premiered on Disney+ Summer 2021 and was an instant hit with fans. The series flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. The show was nominated for three Emmy’s and renewed for a second and third season.
Season 2 continues the journey with The Watcher as our guide through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU. The animated series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles.
The series is directed by Bryan Andrews with AC Bradley as head writer.
Season 1 of “What If…?” is available to stream now on Disney+.
