Disney has announced that the animated Halloween special “Mickey And Friends Trick Or Treats” will begin streaming on Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand on Friday, October 6, 2023. The special will premiere on Sunday, October 1, 2023, on Disney Junior, Disney Channel and Disney XD at 7:00 p.m. EDT/PDT be released on Hulu and Disney+ in the United States, the next day on Monday, October 2, 2023.

Mickey and gang are off trick-or-treating when Donald spies the spookiest mansion he’s ever seen. With the belief that the spookiest house has the best treats, he convinces his friends to risk a visit. Turns out that the owner of the place is Witch Hazel, who doesn’t have any treats and instead casts a spell on them. With songs and comic spookiness, “Mickey and Friends Trick or Treats” celebrates the fun of Halloween and the meaning of friendship.
The special features new original music from Emmy Award-nominated songwriter Beau Black (“The Lion Guard”).
