“Million Dollar Arm” Removed From Disney+ (US)

Disney has removed “Million Dollar Arm” from Disney+ in the United States.

The removal came as a bit of a surprise since Disney+ does not announce which titles will be leaving every month.

The movie was removed due to pre-existing contracts created before the launch of Disney+. The movie is now will return to Disney+ once licensing agreements have expired. No return date has been announced at this time.

The movie remains available on Disney+ internationally.

In a last-ditch effort to save his career, sports agent J.B. Bernstein (Jon Hamm) plans to find baseball’s next star pitcher. He heads to India to find a cricket player whom he can nurture into a major league star. With the help of a scout (Alan Arkin), J.B. finds teens Dinesh (Madhur Mittal) and Rinku (Suraj Sharma), who haven’t a clue about baseball but throw powerful pitches. As the boys adjust to American life, J.B. learns valuable lessons about teamwork and family.
