The second season of FX’s acclaimed show, “The Bear”, is slated for a June debut, and the mastermind behind the series, Christopher Storer, has shared on social media that Molly Gordon will be joining the cast as a pivotal recurring character.
No details were released about what role Molly Gordon will be playing at the moment.
FX’s comedy series “The Bear” is about food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty of Sense of Urgency and the steep slippery downsides. As the young chef Carmy fights to transform both The Original Beef of Chicagoland and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveal themselves as his chosen family.
Jeremy Allen White (Shameless) plays the role of the chef. The series also stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Abby Elliott, and Liza Colón-Zayas, with Edwin Gibson and Matty Matheson in recurring roles.
The episode count for the second season has increased, from eight to ten.
Season 2 of “The Bear” will also be coming to Disney+ internationally however a release date for other regions has not been announced yet.
