Lizzie Hill from My Cosmic Circus also recently said the series had “significant reshoots planned.”
“Ms. Marvel” was originally announced to be coming to Disney+ last fall, however, Disney CFO Christine McCarthy recently confirmed that “Ms. Marvel” won’t be coming to Disney+ until the fourth quarter of 2022. This means that we can expect the Disney+ series to arrive sometime during July, August or September.
Kevin Feige has described Ms. Marvel “as one of the newer characters in the Marvel Comic Universe.” The six-part series is based on the popular comics revolving around 16-year-old Pakistani-American and New Jersey native Kamala Khan. Iman Vellani will play the titular hero.
The series also stars the Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, Travina Springer, Nimra Bucha, and Farhan Akhtar.
Bisha K. Ali is set as co-writer and showrunner, with four directors including Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Adil El Arbi, Billal Fallah and Meera Menon.
