The first season of “Ms. Marvel” concluded its 6-episode run on Disney+ last July. ABC will offer viewers the opportunity to watch all of the hit Disney+ Original series this summer, ahead of Ms. Marvel’s theatrical debut in “The Marvels” on Nov. 10, with the first three episodes airing on ABC on SATURDAY, AUG. 5, and the final three episodes on SATURDAY, AUG. 12, from 8:00-11:00 p.m. EDT/PDT. While originally intended as a limited series, fans have been wondering about the possibility of a second season since there has not been an official announcement for a Season 2.
During the Women of Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, “Ms. Marvel” producer Sana Amanat spoke about the possibility of the show getting a Season 2.
Amanat noted how “it’s great to see more demand” and that fans should push for the show to continue saying:
”It’s great to see more demand. You know, complain. I’m happy to have you guys complain to [Marvel Studios President] Kevin [Feige], let’s get a Season 2.”
Marvel Studios’ “Ms. Marvel” is an original series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero megafan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is, until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with superpowers, right?
“Ms. Marvel” stars Iman Vellani, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Fawad Khan, Laurel Marsden, Arian Moayed, Adaku Ononogbo, Alysia Reiner, Azhar Usman, Laith Nakli, Nimra Bucha, Travina Springer, with Aramis Knight.
All 6 episodes of “Ms. Marvel” are available to stream now on Disney+.
