‘Ms. Marvel’ Reportedly Renewed For Season Two

According to insider Daniel Richtman, Marvel Studios will be moving forward with a second season for ‘Ms. Marvel’.

News of a second season isn’t particularly surprising, but it does seem unusual that Marvel didn’t choose to make an announcement during D23 last week. It’s possible that Marvel is waiting until after Iman Vellani‘s next MCU appearance in The Marvels, a sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel, which debuts in 2023.

As always, since nothing has been confirmed by Marvel or Disney, we will treat this as a rumor for now. However, Daniel Richtman is a solid source.

Marvel Studios’ “Ms. Marvel” is a new, original series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero megafan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is, until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with superpowers, right?

“Ms. Marvel” stars Iman Vellani, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Fawad Khan, Laurel Marsden, Arian Moayed, Adaku Ononogbo, Alysia Reiner, Azhar Usman, Laith Nakli, Nimra Bucha, Travina Springer, with Aramis Knight.
