Disney has announced that Season 2 of National Geographic’s “Last of the Giants: Wild Fish” will be coming to Disney+ in the United States on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.
Cyril Chaquet and his team of adventurous filmmakers embark on a dangerous mission to find and protect the last giant fish on the planet; they are in pursuit of the prehistoric Pirarucu, the massive armour-plated White Sturgeon, and one of the most endangered freshwater goliaths in the world, the Piraiba. These fish have existed for 100 million years and their future is on the line – but can they save the last of the giants?
In the second season, the team travel around the world searching for a short-tailed river stingray in Argentina, a mighty tarpon in Nicaragua and many more endangered fish.
