Disney has announced that National Geographic’s documentary series “Rewind the 90s” will premiere on the National Geographic Channel on Monday, July 31, 2023, with new episodes being released weekly. The series will release on Disney+ on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
Celebrities, eyewitnesses and pop culture pundits relive the most memorable moments of the decade that ushered in the new millennium. From Y2K to Weird Al Yankovic, Tupac to Titanic, and Madonna to the Macarena, REWIND THE ’90s explores the forces that shaped the decade that changed the world forever.

- “The Reality Revolution” Premieres on July 31 at 9/8c. – Camcorders fuel our obsession with ourselves, a hand-held horror film makes us question reality and “The Real World” ushers in the age of reality TV.
- “Comedy Rebellion” Premieres on July 31 at 10/9c. – “The Simpsons” changes the world, a parody becomes a trusted news source, and drag hits the big screen.
