New Details on Marvel’s ‘Agatha: House of Harkness’ Disney+ Series Revealed

One of the new projects Disney announced on Disney+ Day back in November is Marvel Studios’ “Agatha: House of Harkness.”   The Disney+ Original series will star Kathryn Hahn as her character from “WandaVision.”  Jac Schaefer returns as executive producer and head writer.

Few details have been announced since then but we may have a better idea of when production will begin and some new casting details have reportedly been revealed.

The news comes from insider Daniel Richtman who has shared a grid that hints at production eyeing a start from January to May 2023. It was previously believed filming would begin later this year.

There are also some new casting details for a new character known only as “Tyler” who will be one of the show’s leads.  The studio is looking to cast someone between the ages of 17 and 20 years that is a “formidable and dark sense of humor, incredibly witty, astute, and of the moment.” He’s even highlighted as a “fan-boy at times.” The DisInsider further points out that this might be the character of Billy Maximoff, and there’s also the possibility they introduce Agatha’s son Nicholas Scratch.

A release date for the series has not been announced yet however it is expected to launch on Disney+ in late 2023 or early 2024.

In the meantime, you can watch Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harness in WandaVision which is available to stream on Disney+.
