New To Disney+ This Week (UK/IRE)

Here is a look at everything that’s coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom this week.

Highlights include the premieres of Marvel’s “MPower,” the Disney+ Original movie “Chang Can Dunk” and Onyx Collective’s new series “UnPrisoned.”

New episodes also release for Season 3 of “The Mandalorian,” Season 2 of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,” and “Voices Rising: The Music Of Wakanda Forever.”



Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever – Episode 2

Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson and director Ryan Coogler collaborated with musicians and artists from across the globe to craft the score for Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, one of the most anticipated sequels in modern movie history. Now, a brand new three-part series will take viewers behind the music of the blockbuster film with Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever, streaming exclusively on Disney+.

Episode 2: “Mexico: Con La Brisa:

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” introduced audiences to Namor, ruler of an underwater civilization descended from an ancient Mayan community. The character provided a new cultural experience that called for a new sound. Composer Ludwig Göransson collaborates with a wide range of Mexican musicians, including a veteran musicologist, Mayan rappers from the Yucatán peninsula, and bold new female singers like Foudeqush, Vivir Quintana, and Mare Advertencia. The episode also features Tenoch Huerta Meijía, who plays Namor, as he hears the music for the first time. Streaming on March 7.

The Mandalorian – Season 3 – Episode 2

The third season will follow the continuing adventures of the masked warrior and his Force-sensitive charge.

The Bad Batch – Season 2 – Episode 12 – “The Outpost”

“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch—a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army—each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.

In Season 2, months have passed since the events on Kamino and the Bad Batch continue their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.

Chang Can Dunk

“Chang Can Dunk” follows Chang, a 16-year-old, Asian American high school student in the marching band, who bets the school basketball star that he can dunk by Homecoming. The bet leads the 5’ 8″ Chang on a quest to find the hops he needs to dunk in order to impress his crush, Kristy, and finally gain the attention and respect of his high school peers. But before he can rise up and truly throw one down, he’ll have to reexamine everything he knows about himself, his friendships and his family.

Miley Cyrus ‒ Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions) – 6 pm GMT.

Miley Cyrus takes the stage in this must-see, Disney+ music event, “Miley Cyrus – Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions).” For the first time ever, Miley performs songs from “Endless Summer Vacation,” including her hit single “Flowers,” seven additional tracks from the album, one of her chart-topping classic hits and a special performance with Rufus Wainwright.

UnPrisoned – Season 1

Inspired by Tracy McMillan’s life, “UnPrisoned” is a half-hour comedy about a messy but perfectionist
relationship therapist and single mom (Kerry Washington) whose life is turned right-side-up when her dad (Delroy Lindo) gets out of prison and moves in with her and her teenage son.


Tokyo Revengers – Season 2 – New Episode

Takemichi Hanagaki, who has been working one job after another, learns that his ex-girlfriend from high school, Hinata Tachibana, has been killed. After an incident, he wakes up twelve years ago and tries to save her and take his revenge on life.
