Pixar Animation Studios introduces Nona, a grandmother who plans to spend her day off by shutting out the world to watch her favorite TV show, “E.W.W. Smashdown Wrestling.” However, when her 5-year-old granddaughter Renee is unexpectedly dropped off, Nona is caught between her two favorite things. Renee wants to play while the normally-doting Nona wrestles with wanting to watch the Smashdown, leading to a decisive showdown between the two, and a loving compromise. Living in glamorous New York, Becky desperately wants a job writing for a high-fashion magazine. She gets her stilettos in the door when she gets a job writing a personal finance column at a sister publication. Much to her surprise, her column, “The Girl In The Green Scarf,” not only becomes a hit, but she falls head over high heels for her overworked yet handsome boss (Hugh Dancy).
Disney Descendants: The Royal Wedding
The animated special will feature a brand-new song, and the original Descendants cast is set to reprise their roles with Dove Cameron as Mal, Sofia Carson as Evie, Booboo Stewart as Jay, Mitchell Hope as Ben, Sarah Jeffery as Audrey, Melanie Paxson as Fairy Godmother, China Anne McClain as Uma, Jedidiah Goodacre as Chad, Anna Cathcart as Dizzy, Dan Payne as Beast, Bobby Moynihan as Dude the Dog and Cheyenne Jackson as Hades.
Disney’s Broadway Hits At London’s Royal Albert Hall
The lineup for the event includes the West End cast of Aladdin, as well as the show’s composer and Oscar winner Alan Menken. Songs from The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and many more are featured.
