Numerous ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Cast Members Confirmed To Return For Season 20

The 19th season of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ has just concluded, and it’s already been confirmed that the show will make a comeback for its 20th season.

Normally, cast negotiations can extend well into the summer, but this year, agreements were concluded quite promptly. All beloved long-standing cast members are slated to reprise their roles as regulars for the monumental 20th season of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.

This includes the last two original cast members, James Pickens Jr. who portrays Richard, and Chandra Wilson, who plays Bailey, as well as Kevin McKidd, the actor behind Owen, who has been part of the show since its fifth season. Kim Raver, who played Teddy starting in season 6 and rejoined in season 14 after a five-year hiatus, is also set to return. Furthermore, Camilla Luddington, who has been a cast member since Season 9 as Jo, and Caterina Scorsone, who joined in Season 10 as Amelia after several guest appearances, will be back. Both Luddington and Scorsone had recurring roles for a season before becoming series regulars.

This past season marked the departure of the show’s lead, Ellen Pompeo, along with the exit of longtime cast member Kelly McCreary and showrunner Krista Vernoff.

Previous seasons of “Grey’s Anatomy” can currently be streamed on Hulu and on Disney+ in numerous countries worldwide.
