The second season of Marvel’s “Loki” was originally scheduled to release in June of 2023 on Disney+, however, Marvel CEO Kevin Feige recently said they would be slowing down the release of Marvel content leaving fans to wonder if some shows might be delayed.
In a recent interview with ET, Owen Wilson gave a positive update for “Loki” Season 2, revealing the show will debut, towards “the end of summer or September.”
Plot details for the second season are being kept under wraps. Eric Martin will serve as a writer for all six episodes. Moon Knight directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have been tapped to co-direct a majority of the episodes for “Loki” Season 2. Hiddleston and Michael Waldron, who wrote and served as showrunner in Season 1, will executive produce Season 2.
Tom Hiddleston is set to return as Loki. Owen Wilson, who played Mobius in the first season of “Loki,” is also confirmed for the second season. Additionally, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who played Ravonna Renslayer in Season 1, confirmed to GMA that she will be returning.
Season 1 of “Loki” is available to stream now on Disney+.
