‘Pixar Popcorn’ Disney+ Release Date Revealed


During Disney’s Investor Day presentation, Disney announced that new Pixar mini-shorts, “Pixar Popcorn”, will be coming to Disney+ in January 2021.  Today Disney released its full release schedule for everything coming to the streaming service in January 2021 and it was revealed that “Pixar Popcorn” will premiere on Friday, January 22nd.

“Pixar Popcorn” was described by Pixar chief creative officer, Pete Docter, as “mini-shorts” featuring “your favorite Disney characters.” The image that flashed briefly on the screen including references to Toy Story (“To Fitness and Beyond,” “Fluffy Stuff with Ducky and Bunny”), The Incredibles (“Chore Day the Incredibles Way,” “Cookie Num Num”), Cars (um “Dancing with the Cars”), Coco (“A Day of the Life of the Dead”), Finding Dory (“Dory Finding”), and Soul (“Soul of the City”).
