‘Reservation Dogs’ Renewed For Season 2

“Reservation Dogs” has been renewed for Season 2 at FX on Hulu.  The critically-acclaimed comedy series currently holds a 100% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Season 1 premiered on August 9th on FX on Hulu in the United States.  The series was released as a Star Orignal in Canada on September 1st and will also release in New Zealand on Wednesday, September 15th.  The show will be coming to Star in other international markets including the United Kingdom, however, a release date for those countries has not been announced yet.

From Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi, “Reservation Dogs” is a half-hour comedy that follows the exploits of four Indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma who steal, rob and save in order to get to the exotic, mysterious and faraway land of California. The show’s first-of-its-kind Indigenous creative team invites audiences into a surprisingly familiar and funny world.

The series stars D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Devery Jacobs, Paulina Alexis, and Lane Factor.

Nick Grad, FX’s President of Original Programming, said the following about the renewal:

“We couldn’t wait to share Reservation Dogs with viewers and are thrilled that they seem to love it as much as we do. We’re happy to put in an early order for another season. Sterlin Harjo delivered on his creative vision, partnering with Taika Waititi and the rest of the creative team, the brilliant cast and crew to create one of TV’s best new comedies and a groundbreaking showcase of representation and raw talent.”

Season 2 of “Reservation Dogs” is slated to premiere in 2022.
