New online reports reveal we might have some new details on Marvel’s upcoming “She-Hulk” series for Disney+.
According to The Direct, “She-Hulk” is set to feature a younger version of Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner. Marvel Studios is currently casting an actor around the age of 10 years old for the role. Unfortunately, there is no additional information at this time, but seems a younger Bruce Banner could be used for flashbacks in the show.
“Orphan Black’s” Tatiana Maslany was recently confirmed to play the lead character in the upcoming “She-Hulk” series.
It was also recently reported that Kat Coiro has been signed to direct the series for the streaming service. She is in negotiations to direct the pilot and several other episodes of the series and will also serve as an executive producer.
Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) has been tapped to lead the writers room.
Little is known about the “She-Hulk” series so far, but here’s the synopsis as listed on the Film & Television Industry Alliance:
Following an injury, Jennifer Walters receives an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner, and acquires a milder version of his Hulk condition. As such, Walters becomes a large powerful green-hued version of herself while still largely retaining her personality. In particular, she retains her intelligence and emotional control, although, like Hulk, she still becomes stronger if enraged.
“She-Hulk” is said to begin a 6-month shoot in February 2021.
