According to a new rumor, Ryan Gosling is being eyed for Marvel Studios’ upcoming “Fantastic Four” film. The rumor comes from Jeff Sneider on The Hot Mic podcast, who shared that he had “heard” some rumblings about Gosling in the mix for the movie, although he didn’t specify for which role.
This is a different rumor than the one which was reported last November which said Gosling was being eyed to play the main villain in Marvel’s “Thunderbolts” film.
As always, since nothing has been confirmed by Marvel or Disney, we will treat this as a rumor for now.
Not much is known about the “Fantastic Four” reboot except characters Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (Human Torch) and Ben Grimm (The Thing) will return.
Matt Shakman (WandaVision) is confirmed to direct “Fantastic Four.” Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer are on board to write the script.
Moon Knight producers Grant Curtis and Nick Pepin will also serve as producers on the new “Fantastic Four” film along with Kevin Feige.
No official casting news has been announced yet.
Marvel’s “Fantastic Four” is scheduled to hit theaters on February 14, 2025.
