Last month, Ryan Reynolds announced that Disney/Marvel’s “Deadpool 3” will release on September 6, 2024 and shortly thereafter Marvel pushed the release date back to November 8, 2024.
Now, Reynolds has given us an idea of when production will start on the threequel. In a recent interview on The Jess Cagle Show, Reynolds shared that filming would begin right before summer. You can see what he said below:
“Production should start, hopefully some time just before summer. But the shooting is the short, easier part. Then it’s the lead-up, the prep, the writing. The shootings quick, then you have the edit process. That’s where the movie gets really made is the edit room.”
Not much is known about the third film but Hugh Jackman has been confirmed to return as Wolverine.
“Deadpool,” “Deadpool 2” and “Logan” starring Hugh Jackman are available to stream now on Disney+.
