Filming has reportedly wrapped on Marvel’s upcoming “She-Hulk” series for Disney+. The news was confirmed by the show’s stunt coordinator Monique Ganderton who shared her wrap gift on Instagram which you can see below.
While Ganderton does not mention the project by name, the timing does match up as Jameela Jamil who is set to play Titania in the series tweeted late last month that there were four weeks of filming left. Ganderton has previously worked on several Marvel projects including Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, and Loki.
“She-Hulk” is being described as a 30-minute legal comedy. Following an injury, Jennifer Walters receives an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner, and acquires a milder version of his Hulk condition. As such, Walters becomes a large powerful green-hued version of herself while still largely retaining her personality. In particular, she retains her intelligence and emotional control, although, like Hulk, she still becomes stronger if enraged.
Previously announced cast includes Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Tim Roth will return as the Abomination and Jameela Jamil who will reportedly play the infamous villain Titania. Mark Ruffalo will also reprise his role as Bruce Banner in the series.
Kat Coiro will serve as series director, from a script penned by Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty).
“She-Hulk” is expected to arrive on Disney+ sometime in 2022.
