If you’re unfamiliar, Gargoyles is a very popular animated series from the 90s. The show follows a group of heroic night creatures that vow to protect modern-day New York City. After the series was released on Disney+, fans began to demand a reboot of the series on social media.
According to the Belfast Telegraph, Disney is reportedly developing a live-action adaptation of the “Gargoyles” animated series.
The outlet reports that Sir Kenneth Branagh (Death on the Nile) has been tapped to direct. No other details have been shared about the reboot at this time.
As always, since nothing has been confirmed by Disney, we will treat this as a rumor for now.
“Gargoyles” premiered in 1994 and ran for three seasons, a total of 78 episodes, and was renamed “Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles” in its third and final season.
