‘Solar Opposites’ Announces Halloween Special

Last night, during the “Solar Opposites” panel at San Diego Comic Con, it was announced that the show will release a Halloween special this fall.

In the special titled “A Sinister Halloween Scary Opposites Solar Special,”  Korvo allows Terry to have one single spooky decoration for the house since Korvo dislikes anything spooky. Terry then takes things too far when he resurrects a crypt keeper who never tires of telling spooky stories. John Kassir even returns to reprise his voice as the Crypt Keeper.

The news was also shared on social media with a sneak peek which you can see below:

Co-created by Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty) and Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty), Solar Opposites centers around a team of four aliens who escape their exploding home world only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth.

The third season is currently streaming on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ as a Star Original in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Season 3 will also be coming to Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in other territories.

The first two seasons of “Solar Opposites” are available to stream now on Hulu in the US, Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ internationally. The series has already been renewed for Season 4.
