Disney recently announced that five Spider-Man movies and Venom will be coming to Disney+ in the United States this Spring.
“Spider-Man,” “Spider-Man 2,” “Spider-Man 3,” and “The Amazing Spider-Man” are now streaming on Disney+, and “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and “Venom” will join the service on May 12, 2023.
In April 2021, Sony and Disney reached a deal for “post-Pay 1” distribution of various Sony Pictures titles, including library titles. This means one thing: ALL of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will eventually take his rightful place in the Marvel tab on Disney+.
But when exactly might No Way Home come to Disney? A new update from Sony provides some hope!
When is Spider-Man: No Way Home Coming To Disney+?
Neither Disney nor Sony have provided a release date for Spider-Man: No Way Home, but Sony has promised via a press release that more movies and shows from the Sony Pictures library are expected to come to Disney+ later this year.
“Additional titles from Sony Pictures’ film and television library are expected to premiere on Disney+ in the U.S. later this year.”
After May 12, the only Sony Marvel movies missing are Far From Home, No Way Home, Venom 2, Morbius, and Into the Spider-Verse. This means at least a few will be joining Disney+ by the end of the year.
In the United States, the No Way Home is already streaming on Starz for its Pay 1 Window, which has been since July 2022.
Looking at patterns based on how Spider-Man movies were released on Disney+ in the UK, Spider-Man: No Way Home should arrive on Disney+ in the United States in late 2023.
Unfortunately, it is unclear if and when Spider-Man: No Way Home will be available on Disney+ internationally because individual streaming rights differ per country.
That said, we will let you know as soon as we receive any news on when No Way Home or any of the missing Spider-Man movies will be added to Disney+.
