Disney has announced the upcoming Star original comedy series Life & Beth will premiere on Disney+ in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand on Friday, March 18th. All 10 episodes of the series will also premiere on Hulu in the United States on the same day. The series will also be coming to Disney+ Internationally including the U.K. under the Star banner however a release date for those regions has not been announced yet.

In Life & Beth, Beth’s life looks pretty great on paper. Impressive to everyone she grew up with. She makes a good living as a wine distributor. She’s in a long-term relationship with an attractive, successful guy and lives in Manhattan. When a sudden incident forces Beth to engage with her past, her life changes forever. Through flashbacks to her teen self, Beth starts to learn how she became who she is and who she wants to become. We’ll go on her journey toward building a more authentic life. Learning to express herself and living in an intentional way. A trip down memory lane is a strong source of trauma, comedy and moving forward.
The series stars Amy Schumer, Michael Rapaport, Laura Benanti, Michael Cera and Violet Young.
Schumer created, directs, writes, exec produces, and stars in the 10-episode scripted comedy for the streamer.
