Check out some social media reactions below:
I’m happy to say that #Andor is friggin’ AWESOME! The first live-action #StarWars show to rival The Mandalorian but it’s soooooooo different. Driven by mood, atmosphere, & character – feels more akin to a dark Ridley Scott Sci-Fi joint. LOVED the first few episodes! pic.twitter.com/EYIagLv6r2

Have seen the first 4 episodes of #andor and LOVE them. I’m so tired of watching the same #starwars characters and locations and ‘Andor’ is none of that. No Jedi. No lightsabers. No Tatooine. Tony Gilroy is leading what might end up as my favorite ‘Star Wars’ series. pic.twitter.com/wfubmYoBkP

I’m absolutely blown away by the audacity of #ANDOR. We often have to say “Star Wars has always been political” to counter people who would deny that fact. Well this show is actively angry at the people denying it. Audacious, timely, raw, & exceedingly thoughtful. Powerful work.

Just 4 episodes in and #Andor is already the best of #Disney+. The difference in quality is so vivid. The character’s journey and stakes are what keep you interested. No reliance on cameos, fan-service or action. More thrill and stakes are provided just through brilliant writing. pic.twitter.com/ODrVszxvnz

#Andor is the most mature Star Wars to date (feels akin to an HBO drama). Grounded story w/ intimate stakes & serious tone that shows a new side of the Empire. Overcomes a slowish start in first 2 eps. Stellan Skarsgård is fantastic & Diego Luna is somehow even better than in RO pic.twitter.com/9y1jWf7DSJ

#Andor blew away my expectations. It’s extremely cinematic, ambitious, unafraid to take risks. It keeps the characters at the forefront with a slower pace. It’s easy to inhabit their mindsets. The final moments of episode three had me in tears. Just in awe.

I’ve only seen the first two episodes of ANDOR so far, but it’s a very cool, very different flavor of STAR WARS.
I like this new POV on this galaxy.

#Andor episodes 1-4 are terrific. This is the content Star Wars fans have been waiting for, it’s dark, gritty and beautifully shot throughout with the political side being mesmerising to me. If this is the direction the franchise is taking, then the future is very bright. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/iZrxokxokT

I’ve watched 4 episodes of #Andor & I’m loving its more simple ground-level approach. It’s different from the other shows, less humor. Plays like a crime drama more than a space opera. I dug how it highlights low-level Empire leaders as it reveals a rebel alliance slowly forming pic.twitter.com/SNsBIDrhbq

#Andor is FANTASTIC. Takes its time building but when the third episode hits it pops off in a fascinating way. The most mature Star Wars tv story yet & truly the start of the rebellion. The more I sit with this series the more I fall for this story & can’t wait for the rest pic.twitter.com/QcD08w31GB

Watched the first four episodes #Andor! I’m definitely intrigued by where the story is going, but the 12-episode format really has me looking forward to more. Great performances and a slow build so far, can’t wait for the rest of it!
