In April, during Star Wars Celebration, it was announced that “Skeleton Crew” will arrive on Disney+ at an unspecified point in 2023
Jaleel White, who plays a pirate in “Skeleton Crew”, has given fans a clue about the project’s release date.
In an interview with Sportsnet while attending the Edmonton Oilers NHL game, White disclosed that the Disney+ series is scheduled for a launch in either November or December.
“…Yeah, [Skeleton Crew’s] coming out in November/December, and it’s part of the Star Wars universe.”
“Skeleton Crew” stars Jude Law and is created and executive-produced by director Jon Watts and writer Chris Ford.
“Skeleton Crew” follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home—and meeting unlikely allies and enemies—will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.
Jon Watts and Christopher Ford are showrunners and executive produce along with Favreau, Filoni, Kennedy and Wilson. Gilchrist and Beck serve as co-executive producers. John Bartnicki and Susan McNamara are producers.
Directors include Watts, Ford, David Lowery, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard and Lee Isaac Chung.
“Skeleton Crew” has wrapped filming and is expected to release on Disney+ in late 2023.
