‘Star Wars: Visions’ Reportedly Renewed For Season 3

“Star Wars: Visions” Volume 2, which is streaming now on Disney+, features nine new shorts from nine celebrated animation studios from across the globe.

During an appearance on The Hot Mic podcast, insider Jeff Snieder shared that he has received word of more Star Wars: Visions being in development.

Snieder also tweeted he’s heard “Season 3 of Star Wars: Visions is already in the works”.

“Rumor in honor of May The 4th Be With You: Hearing that Season 3 of ‘Star Wars: Visions’ is already in the works. Season 2 debuted today…”

As always, since nothing has been confirmed by Disney or Lucasfilm, we will treat this as a rumor for now.

Employing the most captivating animation styles from a variety of countries and cultures, the second volume offers a dynamic new perspective on the storied mythos of Star Wars.

The shorts included in “Star Wars: Visions” Volume 2 were created by the following international animation studios: El Guiri (Spain), Cartoon Saloon (Ireland), Punkrobot (Chile), Aardman (United Kingdom), Studio Mir (South Korea) Studio La Cachette (France), 88 Pictures (India), D’art Shtajio (Japan), and Triggerfish (South Africa). D’Art Shtajio’s short was created in collaboration with Lucasfilm Ltd. (United States).
