Not too many details have been reported on the new series. The show will star Temuera Morrison (Boba Fett) and Ming-Na Wen (Fennec Shand) as well as be executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Robert Rodriguez.
There have also been some rumors that Din Djarin could make a cameo appearance as well as Migs Mayfeld, Cobb Vanth and Greef Karga, but nothing has been confirmed.
Filming for season 3 of The Mandalorian was scheduled to begin after The Book of Boba Fett wrapped up filming, but nothing official has been announced yet. Earlier today, we reported that Pedro Pascal recently revealed filming for the third season had not started yet.
The Book of Boba Fett is scheduled to release on Disney+ in December 2021.
