‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’ Could Be Rewritten Due to Coronavirus

According to new rumors, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier may have to undergo rewrites due to concerns over the coronavirus.  WeGotThisCovered.com is reporting the new Disney+ series is taking precautions in case the deadly virus becomes a pandemic.

The article goes on to say, MCU Exchange reports show that stars Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/Falcon) and Sebastian Stan ( Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier) have extended their shooting schedule due to the rewrites. Some plot leaks and speculation have revolved around the series featuring some kind of device unleashing a virus across the populace, which, if when it airs in August the Coronavirus has become a full-on global pandemic, would be very inappropriate of the family-friendly platform to showcase.

If these reports are correct, it hasn’t affected the release date of the series on Disney+.  The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is still set to debut in August 2020 exclusively on the streaming service.
