‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ to Resume Filming in Czech Republic This Summer

Back in March, “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”, halted filming in the Czech Republic due to coronavirus concerns. Anthony Mackie, who stars in the upcoming Disney+ series, recently shared on the “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” that there was “very little left” to film for the show.

Now, the extras casting agency, Extrafilms posted on their Facebook page that “Tag Team” (the codename for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier) is in talks to return there in late July or early August.  You can see that post below:

“The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” is currently set to be released on Disney+ in August but with filming scheduled to resume in July or August, this could be delayed.  There have also been rumors that some of the new Marvel series would be split into half-seasons on the streaming service to allow filming to be completed; however neither Disney nor Marvel have addressed this matter.

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are set to reprise their roles from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the 6-episode series, with Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, and Wyatt Russell also starring.
