‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2 Casts Terminator’s Michael Biehn

Season 2 of The Mandalorian returns this October and we are slowly learning more information about the sophomore series including new cast details. Recently we learned Rosario Dawson had been cast as Ahsoka Tano and now MakingStarWars.net is reporting Michael Biehn is also joining the second season of the Star Wars series.

We don’t have much information on the role Biehn is playing in The Mandalorian, but the article does state that Biehn is playing a bounty bunter from Mando’s past.

Biehn has many familiar film credits including: Johnny Ringo in Tombstone, John Connor’s father in Terminator (1984), and Corporal Hick in Aliens (1986) to name a few.

Directors confirmed to direct new episodes of The Mandalorian include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peyton Reed, Taika Waititi , Carl Weathers and Robert Rodriguez.

Also returning for season two are Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian, Gina Carano as Cara Dune, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Emily Swallow as the Armorer, and Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon. Newcomers to the series include WWE superstar Sasha Banks in an unknown role, and previously mentioned Rosario Dawson as Jedi Ahsoka Tano.

Jon Favreau also returns as executive producer/writer for the second season.

Season 2 of The Mandalorian is set to premiere on Disney+ in October 2020.
