‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2 Gets New Twitter Emojis Ahead of Trailer Tonight


Tonight, an exclusive look at Season 2 of “The Mandalorian” will be shown during Monday Night Football on ESPN. The game between the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys begins at 8:15pm ET.

Ahead of the new trailer,  Disney has launched new Twitter hashtag emojis featuring characters from the Disney+ Star Wars series. The new hashtags show the emoji versions of “Mando” Din Djarin, “The Child” Baby Yoda, Cara Dune, Greef Karga, the Armorer, and Moff Gideon.  Mando’s ship, the Razorcrest, and the Mandalorian motto, “This is the way” are also featured.  Check them all out below:

In Season 2, the Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.

“The Mandalorian” stars Pedro Pascal, with guest stars Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer.

The new season premieres Friday, October 30, streaming only on Disney+.
