‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Release Window Revealed

The third season of the highly anticipated “The Mandalorian” will premiere on Disney+ in late 2022 or early 2023.  It was previously believed that Season 3 would debut around Christmastime later this year.  The news comes from a Star Wars article shared by Vanity Fair.

Any details for the upcoming season have been kept tightly under wraps.  Pedro Pascal, who plays Din Djarin in the series, recently teased that we will not only see familiar faces in Season 3 but lots of new faces as well.

It was recently revealed that Christopher Lloyd has joined the cast in a guest-starring role, however, no further details have been revealed for his character.

There are several rumors for Season 3 including the return of IG-11 who will reportedly act as a “mech” for baby Grogu. Jim O’Heir from Parks and Recreation will also reportedly appear in the upcoming season.

Bryce Dallas Howard will reportedly return to direct an episode of “The Mandalorian” for Season 3 as well as Carl Weathers, who plays Greef Karga in the series.

Seasons 1 and 2 of “The Mandalorian” are available to stream now on Disney+.
