Disney+’s “The Mandalorian” won four Emmy Awards Sunday night during the Creative Arts Emmys. The hit series earned an Emmy in the following categories: Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score), Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Season or a Movie, Outstanding Stunt Coordination, and Outstanding Stunt Performance.
These are in addition to the three Creative Arts Emmys “The Mandalorian” won on Saturday night for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series (Half-Hour), Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup, and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour).
“The Mandalorian” is up for 24 Emmy nominations overall including Best Drama Series. Other nominations for the series include the Best Supporting Actor Drama category for Giancarlo Esposito for his role as Moff Gideon. Timothy Olyphant and Carl Weathers also received nods for Guest Actors in a Drama Series.
The 73rd annual Emmy Awards is set to air on September 19th on CBS and will be hosted by Cedric the Entertainer.
