According to industry insider Daniel Richtman on Patreon, the first trailer for The Marvels will be released on Tuesday, April 11.
The exact time when the trailer will drop is unknown. However, recent Marvel trailers have dropped at either 9:00 am ET or 12:00 pm ET.
While this date hasn’t officially been confirmed, Daniel Richtman has an excellent track record on trailer dates.
A poster for the movie was released along with news that the movie has been pushed back from July 28, 2023, to November 10, 2023, back in February. You can view the poster below:
“The Marvels” will see the return of Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and will also feature appearances from Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, Zawe Ashton in a currently unknown role, as well as WandaVision star Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau. Marvel also recently confirmed that Korean actor Park Seo-Joon (Parasite) has joined the cast.
The film is directed by Candyman‘s Nia DaCosta on a script written by Megan McDonnell.
Recently, two additional writers have been revealed for the Captain Marvel sequel. Elissa Karasik (Loki) and Zeb Wells (Robot Chicken) were added as additional writers, joining DaCosta and McDonnell. Karasik wrote all six episodes of Disney+’s Loki. Wells is best known as a writer for Marvel Comics and has worked on several Spider-Man stories. Wells has also worked on the animated comedy series Robot Chicken and served as a writer for one episode of Disney+’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
“The Marvels” will open in theaters on November 10, 2023, and is part of Phase 5 of the MCU.
