‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’ Season 1 To Air on FreeForm

Disney will broadcast the entire first season of ‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’ on its linear TV channel FreeForm on January 01, 2023. Episode will broadcast back to back from 4PM ET.

Disney has recently started to share some titles across its distribution network, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and linear channels. This strategy recently happened for ‘The Santa Clauses’, which had two episodes released on ABC, FX and Freeform. This ultimately allows Disney to maximum the reach for these titles and promote other services under its umbrella of consumer offerings.

Freeform is a basic cable channel owned and operated by ABC Family Worldwide, a sub-division of the Disney General Entertainment Content division of the Walt Disney Company.

Set in present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. With the help of Gordon Bombay, they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game.

Both seasons of ‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’ are available to stream now on Disney+.
