The Resident star Matt Czuchry has reportedly joined the cast of “American Horror Story” Season 12. The news comes from an article posted by THR which reported that The Resident had been canceled by Fox after 6 seasons and revealed, “The Resident star Matt Czuchry will remain in the 20th TV fold and is set to join the next season of FX’s American Horror Story, which the studio produces.”
Czuchry’s role in the upcoming season of the anthology series has not been disclosed.
“American Horror Story” is an American anthology horror television series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk for the cable network FX. The first installment in the American Story media franchise, each season is conceived as a self-contained miniseries, following a different set of characters and settings, and a storyline with its own “beginning, middle, and end.” Some plot elements of each season are loosely inspired by true events.
Season 11 featured appearances from Joe Mantello, Billie Lourd, Zachary Quinto, Russell Tovey, Leslie Grossman, Charlie Carver, Sandra Bernhard, Isaac Powell, Denis O’Hare and Patti LuPone.
Previous seasons of “American Horror Story” are available to stream now on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ internationally including the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Ryan Murphy has confirmed that AHS Season 12 will begin filming in May. “American Horror Story” has been renewed through Season 13.
