Yesterday, during The Walt Disney Company’s Q1 earnings call, CEO Bob Iger announced that Toy Story, Frozen and Zootopia sequels are all in the works.
Iger stated: “Today I’m so pleased to announce that we have sequels in the works from our animation studios to some of our most popular franchises, Toy story, Frozen and Zootopia. we’ll have more to share about these productions soon. but this is a great example of how we’re leaning into our unrivaled brands and franchises.”
While no other details were provided about the upcoming sequels, Tim Allen took to social media to tease Buzz & Woody’s return in Toy Story 5. Allen, who voices Buzz, said on Twitter. “See ya soon Woody!” You can see that post below:
