‘Titanic’ Removed From Disney+ (UK/IRE)

Titanic has been removed from Disney+ in the United Kingdom. We’ve also heard reports of the movie being removed from other countries such as Portugal. While it’s not entirely uncommon for Disney to remove certain titles from Disney+ in the United States, it’s definitely unusual to see this happen Internationally.

The removal came as a bit of a surprise since Disney+ does not announce which titles will be leaving every month.

Occasionally, a title is removed due to a temporary glitch and returns to Disney+ within a few days. However, sometimes there is a licensing agreement with another network/streaming service preventing Disney from keeping the title on Disney+. In this case, Disney hasn’t provided any details on the removal, so it’s unknown if ‘Titanic’ will return at a later date.

Disney has also removed over 40 titles from Disney+ in the UK and other countries in the last few days. Many people are speculating this is some type of glitch, which isn’t entirely uncommon, but Disney hasn’t confirmed any details on why these titles were removed.

We’ll update this article if we hear any further details.
