Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible) is rumored to have been cast as Sue Storm in Marvel’s “Fantastic Four” film.
The news comes from reputable The Hot Mic podcast where industry scooper Jeff Sneider claims actress Vanessa Kirby is upwards of “95%” confirmed to play Sue Storm (aka The Invisible Woman.
As always, since nothing has been confirmed by Marvel or Disney, we will treat this as a rumor for now.
Not much is known about the “Fantastic Four” reboot except characters Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (Human Torch) and Ben Grimm (The Thing) will return.
Matt Shakman (WandaVision) is confirmed to direct “Fantastic Four.” Josh Friedman (Avatar: The Way of Water) has reportedly been tapped to write the script. Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer were the previous writers of the project.
Moon Knight producers Grant Curtis and Nick Pepin will also serve as producers on the new “Fantastic Four” film along with Kevin Feige.
No official casting news has been announced yet.
Marvel’s “Fantastic Four” is scheduled to hit theaters on February 14, 2025, however, could be delayed due to the ongoing Hollywood strike.
