Last July, during the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, announced that “Daredevil: Born Again” an Original series starring Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, would be coming to Disney+ in Spring 2024.
Cox originally played Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the Marvel series on Netflix from 2015 to 2018. He also appeared in the spinoff series, The Defenders. Most recently his character had a cameo appearance in Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk Attorney at Law.

Sopranos prequel actor Michael Gandolfini (The Many Saints of Newark) has joined the cast of Born Again in a major role and Margarita Levieva (The Deuce) and Sandrine Holt (American Gigolo) have also boarded the series and could be playing love interests for the leads. The series will be written and executive produced by Covert Affairs creators Matt Corman and Chris Ord.
D’Onofrio recently provided a filming date and hyped up the series for fans on social media. The actor revealed that they are “in deep glorious prep” and “not quite shooting yet.” In another post, D’Onofrio says,” It’s going to be very very cool.” You can see both of those tweets below:

It’s going to be very very cool. Very different than the Netflix show which was as we know was amazing. Yet this is brand new and really smart.
We are going to surprise everyone with it.
And yes it’s going to be really cool.— Vincent D’Onofrio (@vincentdonofrio) February 7, 2023
