‘WandaVision’ Writer Joins ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’

During the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con last July, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios announced that Marvel’s “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” will arrive on Disney+ in Winter 2023.

The Disney+ Original series will star Kathryn Hahn as her character from WandaVision. Jac Schaefer returns as executive producer and head writer.

According to a new report, another WandaVision scribe has joined that upcoming series.  The news comes from a listing on Writers Guild of America‘s site which says WandaVision staff writer Megan McDonnell is among the team of writers working on the Disney+ project. McDonnell joins Peter Cameron, Laura Donney and Cameron Squires in the writer’s room who all previously worked on WandaVision.McDonnell also penned the script for the upcoming The Marvels film.

Not many other details are known about the project however a fellow WandaVision star will reportedly be returning for the series.  Emma Caulfield, who played Sarah Proctor, aka Dottie Jones in WandaVision, recently told Vanity Fair that she will be reprising her role in “Agatha: Coven of Chaos.”

According to Production List, “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” is set to start filming in Atlanta, GA, on December 5. The series will be working under the title of “My Pretty.”

Marvel’s “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” is scheduled to release on Disney+ in Winter 2023.
