Disney+ is getting ready to start production on its next UK Original scripted series titled “Wedding Season.” The project is being created by The Salisbury Poisonings producer Dancing Ledge Productions and Emily In Paris producer Jax Media.
Plot details have not been revealed yet, but it is being described as a rom-com action-adventure story.
“Wedding Season” is being written by Oliver Lyttelton who wrote the short-form scripted series Cheaters. George Kane (Timewasters) will reportedly direct the series.
Although production is gearing up, the series has not yet been officially greenlit.
Disney+ recently unveiled plans to greenlight 50 international projects by 2024 including The Ballad of Renegade Nell, Culprits, and Extraordinary.
