What’s Coming To Disney+ In April 2023 (UK/IRE)

Here is what’s coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom in April 2023.

Highlights include the premiere of Jeremy Renner’s “Rennervations” on the 12th, all six episodes of “Matildas: The World at Our Feet” on the 26th along with “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures,” and the Disney+ Original movie “Peter Pan & Wendy,” on the 28th.

“Tiny Beautiful Things” starring Kathryn Hahn arrives on the 7th and all 11 episodes of “How I Met Your Father” Season 2 release on the 19th.

New library titles include “Life in Pieces,” Seasons 1-8 of “Home Improvement,” new episodes of “grown-ish” Season 5 and more.

New episodes also continue to release for Season 3 of “The Mandalorian” leading up to the finale on the 19th.

We’ll update this list as new titles are announced.  Please note, titles and dates are subject to change.

The Pope: Answers

Filmed in Rome, the special focuses on the meeting between the current head of the Catholic Church and ten young adults of different ages, backgrounds and with very different lives and experiences.

The special features upfront and honest conversations between one of the most influential people in the world and ten Spanish-speaking young adults between 20 and 25 years old who raise questions and concerns on a wide variety of topics, including: feminism, the role of women in the Church, reproductive rights, loss of faith, the migration crisis, LGBTQIA+ rights, abuse within the Church, racism and mental health. The meeting between the Pope and the ten young adults took place in June 2022 in the Pigneto, one of Rome’s most eclectic neighborhoods. The Pope speaks unreservedly and the result is an intense and dynamic conversation, founded on empathy, curiosity, respect and mutual learning.


The Good Mothers – All 6 Episodes – Premiere

House Productions and Fremantle-owned Wildside produce this six-part series, which tells the true story of how three courageous women inside the notorious Calabrian ‘Ndrangheta mafia worked with newly-minted female prosecutor, Alessandra Cerreti, to bring down the criminal empire.

The cast includes Gaia Girace (“My Brilliant Friend”); Valentina Bellè (“Catch-22”, “Medici”); Barbara Chichiarelli (“Suburra – The series”, “Bad Tales”); Francesco Colella (“ZeroZeroZero”, “Trust”); Simona Distefano (“The Traitor”); Andrea Dodero (“Thou Shalt Not Hate”); and Micaela Ramazzotti (“Like Crazy”, “The First Beautiful Thing”).

The story tells of a young pm, Anna Colace (Chichiarelli), who has the intuition to attack the ‘ndrangheta by leveraging its women, the wives and mothers of the bosses. The story begins with the disappearance of Lea Garofalo (Ramazzotti), the one who had testified against her husband Carlo Cosco (Colella) to escape his grip and ensure his daughter Denise (Girace) a life away from that environment. The story extends to the stories of Giuseppina Pesce (Bellè) and Concetta Cacciola (Distefano).


The Mandalorian – Season 3 – Episode 6

The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.
